How to Make Easy Rainbow Apples
Rainbow Jell-O Apples
At Girl Scout camp Momma Critter learned to make a tasty and beautiful snack, Jell-O Apples! It’s super quick and easy to make, kids of all ages can help! It’ll add a dash of color to your camping meals and your kids will love it. That’s enough back story, now let’s get straight to the recipe!
You’ll need:
- 1 box jello
- 2 apples
- Zip-top bag
If you want the true rainbow of flavors, you’ll need 2 apples per box of jello. We used Strawberry, Lemon, Lime and Berry Blue to get our rainbow.
Pour jello into zip-top baggies.
Cut apples into chunks and the pieces into the baggie and shake. Repeat as desired.
Take out apples, eat and enjoy!
Super simple, really tasty. Do NOT make these ahead of time, they turn into a sludgy soup. They’re the best when they’re fresh!
Happy Camping!
I’m Molly Foss, aka Momma Critter. I’ve been camping since I was 9 years old and I always wanted to be Robin Hood and live in the forest when I grew up. I’m excited to share my love of camping with my son as he grows up. My favorite thing to do while camping is roast marshmallows over the fire.
